Interview with Octopus Classic pool manager

Max: Hi, tell our readers about your professional background.

ZigZag: Hi everyone, I’ve been trading since 2013. Then I started trading on FOREX, then I switched to futures on the CME exchange.

Max: What brought you into crypto trading after CME futures?

ZigZag: In mid-2017, following a hype, I bought Bitcoin at $2500. Then I made easy money and stayed to trade on cryptocurrency exchanges.

Max: Speaking of exchanges. Which exchanges do you trade on now with your own money and pool funds?

ZigZag: With my own capital I trade on 7 cryptocurrency exchanges. I manage pool funds separately on the Binance exchange.

Max: You have a lot of experience in trading on different markets. Can you highlight the main advantages of trading on the cryptocurrency market as compared to classic platforms?

ZigZag: I believe that the cryptocurrency market has many advantages over classic markets. Cryptocurrencies use future technologies, so we should consider our activities in the cryptocurrency market as part of a long-term strategy. And, of course, the main advantage is the high liquidity of the market, which allows tokens to give crazy growth percentages. This allows traders to earn even with a small deposit, trading for their own money without resorting to margin instruments.

Max: What is the average deal duration of your trading system?

ZigZag: I trade both intraday and long term. This is a very profitable strategy on cryptocurrency exchanges, as sometimes you can take a quick ride on empty tokens, and sometimes it’s better to sit long in a strong and promising coin.

Max: Let’s talk about your current activity. What are the pool’s plans for the near future?

ZigZag: In the future the pool will expand, we will trade on other major exchanges as well — Kucoin, Huobi.
